A mechanical engineer-turned-journalist, he has been reviewing Malayalam films for The Hindu since 2012, alongside reporting of regular political and cultural developments. His debut book ‘Ticket to Kerala: The Story of Malayalam Cinema’, an Amazon bestseller in the Cinema books category, is aimed at introducing Malayalam cinema beyond its immediate past to an audience outside Kerala.
