The Sculpture Exhibition brings together sculpture, storytelling and contemporary creative expression at the 8^th Edition of the Orange City Literature Festival (OCLF) 2026.

A curated space for artists to transform ideas, narratives, heritage and imagination into sculptural art, and present their work to an audience of readers, artists, creators, collectors and cultural enthusiasts.

We welcome interpretations that are original, thought-provoking and rooted in the artist's own visual language.

Tell Us the Story Behind Your Art: Artists are requested to provide a brief description of up to 50 words explaining the artwork's concept, inspiration and connection to the theme. This description will help visitors understand and engage with the work on display.

Artwork Specifications

• All works must be stable, self-supporting, safe for public display and ready for installation.
• Any specialised pedestal, display case, mounting system or protective equipment required for the artwork must be arranged by the artist.

Artist Details & Sales

• Artists are invited to provide their name, contact number and relevant contact details along with their artwork.
• These details will allow interested visitors and potential buyers to connect directly with the artist regarding the artwork, pricing and purchase.
• Artists are responsible for managing their own pricing, negotiations, payments and sales.
• No commission will be charged on artwork sales.

A Showcase, Not a Competition

• This is a non-competitive exhibition created to celebrate artistic expression and explore the connection between art, literature, culture and ideas.
• Selected artists must ensure that their artwork is delivered directly to the designated exhibition venue on 20^th November 2026, ready for display.
• Artists are responsible for the transportation, installation and removal of their work.
• After the conclusion of the festival, artists may collect their exhibited artwork within the collection timeline communicated by the organisers.

Artist Declaration:

By participating in the exhibition, the artist confirms that:

• The submitted artwork is their original work, or they hold all necessary rights and permissions for its exhibition.
• All information provided about the artwork is accurate and complete.
• The artwork complies with the specified size, weight and safety requirements.
• They will provide a brief description of up to 50 words explaining the artwork's concept, inspiration and connection to the theme.
• They will provide accurate contact details for visitors and potential buyers to reach them.
• They will arrange the transportation, installation and removal of the artwork.
• Any specialised equipment required for display will be provided by the artist.
• They will comply with the exhibition and venue guidelines.
• They understand that the organisers will not be responsible for loss, theft, accidental damage, breakage or deterioration of the artwork, except where such responsibility cannot legally be excluded.
• The organisers reserve the right to accept, reject or withdraw an artwork that does not meet the required thematic, technical, safety or logistical standards.
• By submitting the artwork, the artist acknowledges that they have read, understood and accepted the exhibition guidelines and declaration.
