Eligibility
- Group A: 8 – 13 years
- Group B: 14 – 21 years
- Group C: 22+ years
Guidelines
On-Site Creation: Artwork must be created entirely during the competition hours.
Fusion Theme
Participants should choose any form of traditional painting, such as Phad, Warli, Madhubani, etc., and create a fusion of it with a contemporary form. The artwork should convey a meaningful story or concept.

Theme-Based Painting Competition
The Theme-Based Painting Competition was successfully held on 3rd May 2026 in Nagpur, with an enthusiastic participation of 246 participants from various age groups.
The competition was conducted on-site for a duration of 2 hours, where participants created original artworks based on the themes My Village / Rural Life and Wildlife. The event provided a creative platform for students, hobby artists, and professionals to showcase their artistic skills.
The competition was judged by:
- Pradnya Rahane Besekar, Senior Artist, Nagpur
- Milli Pandey Vikamshi, Artist and Co-founder, AlagAngle Community Art Centre
Winners were announced across three categories:
Group A (8–13 years)
- 1st Prize (₹3,000): Harsh Deshmukh
- 2nd Prize (₹2,000): Adishree Pranay Kolhe
- 3rd Prize (₹1,000): Swaksh Kalakota
- Consolation Prize (₹500 each): Vedant Mallikarjun Mule, Lavanya Pawar
Group B (14–21 years)
- 1st Prize (₹5,000): Sonali Sunil Kale
- 2nd Prize (₹3,000): Radha Bageker
- 3rd Prize (₹2,000): Swarnima Khapekar
- Consolation Prize (₹1,000 each): Purva Ghanesher Girmeker, Vedika R. Deshmukh
Group C (22+ years)
- 1st Prize (₹7,000): Pratham Arvind Sondawale
- 2nd Prize (₹5,000): Pratik P. Khapre
- 3rd Prize (₹3,000): Harsh Pakhale
- Consolation Prize (₹1,500 each): Dharti Balasaheb Kaware, Rohan Anil Padade
All entries were evaluated based on creativity, technical skills, and relevance to the theme. The decision of the judges was final, and no appeals were entertained.
The event concluded successfully with a prize distribution ceremony, where winners were awarded a total prize pool of ₹37,000. The competition celebrated creativity, talent, and artistic expression among all participants.
