Nandita Puri has been a writer, journalist, broadcaster, and columnist for more than two decades. She has been a columnist with Midday and Dainik Bhaskar for several years, and has authored four successful books, including the short story collection Nine on Nine and the highly successful biography Unlikely Hero: Om Puri. Her fourth book, Jennifer, on international child trafficking and inter-country adoption, is an international bestseller and is soon to be adapted for the screen.
Nandita sits on the script committee of the NFDC and made her acting debut in Yes Papa. In 2017, she launched the Om Puri Foundation at the 70th Cannes Film Festival to carry forward the legacy of her legendary husband, the late Om Puri. She currently heads the Om Puri Foundation.
