Ar. Gita Balakrishnan, founder of Ethos and the Ethos Foundation, completed her fourth journey on foot from Chennai to Bengaluru in January 2024, promoting Universal Design and Accessibility through Walk for Arcause. Traversing over 2500 km across 9+ states, her first journey is chronicled in 1700 in 70 by Rupa Publishers. A graduate of SPA New Delhi and a trustee of AVAS, Gita has won numerous awards, including the Woman of the Year Award 2023 by D-arc Build, and is a TEDX speaker and has spoken at over 200 events.
