Debashis Basu is a Chartered Accountant, an award-winning financial journalist and a SEBI-registered investment adviser, with over three decades of experience across India's leading publishing groups, including The Times of India, Business India, Business World and Business Today. Along with Sucheta Dalal, he has co-authored the best-selling The Scam: From Harshad Mehta to Ketan Parekh, later adapted into the acclaimed web series Scam 1992, as well as Absolute Power, on the National Stock Exchange's co-location scandal, and Pathbreakers. He has also authored Face Value: Creation and Destruction of Shareholder Value in India, apart from other books, and writes a fortnightly column for the Business Standard newspaper.
