Esha Gupta is an award-winning poet, storyteller, self-taught illustrator, and product strategy designer with a deep passion for creating books for children. Her work brings together playful storytelling, colourful illustrations, and gentle life lessons, making big ideas easier for young readers to explore.
Her debut series, The Fabulous Fruits, introduces children to a cast of quirky fruit characters, each with a personality and a lesson of their own. From The Adamant Apple, a story about patience, to The Odd Orange, which explores friendship and self-acceptance, her books turn everyday emotions and experiences into imaginative adventures. The series was published as a box set by Scholastic India.
A proud mother of a toddler, Esha draws much of her inspiration from the wonderful unpredictability of childhood. When she isn't dreaming up new characters and stories, she can be found making up silly songs, imagining unicorns, and searching for the perfect shade of purple for her illustrations.
