Anu Lall holds a Master’s in Business Administration from XLRI Jamshedpur and a Bachelor of Laws from Delhi University. She has spent over twenty-five years working across the pharmaceutical and technology industries in India, the US, Europe and Singapore.
Her recent book, Bishnois and the Blackbuck: Can Dharma Save the Environment?, explores the remarkable history of the Bishnoi community’s environmental stewardship, from the Khejarli massacre of 1730 to contemporary legal and conservation battles. Blending ecology, faith and law, the book examines the community’s tradition of protecting trees and wildlife and explores whether its dharmic and indigenous approach offers insights for modern environmental conservation.
A trained yoga asana and pranayama teacher, Anu also speaks and writes on current affairs, dharma, law and social issues. Her work has appeared across public forums, digital platforms, television discussions and national and international publications.
