She holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and a Master of Engineering in Applied Electronics from PSG College of Technology. Her pursuit of the art of writing led her to the University of Cambridge, UK and Stanford Continuing Studies, USA, where she further honed her creative writing skills.

In her journey of self-discovery, Purnima transitioned from a corporate career in the tech industry to becoming a full-time writer, and meditation trainer, dedicating her time to both her literary pursuits to her family and the society and community at large.
