Nidhi Sharma is a journalist, author and political analyst working with the political bureau of The Economic Times. She has twenty-five years of experience covering politics and governance in New Delhi for leading newspapers such as The Pioneer, The Times of India and The Asian Age. She has been a World Press Institute fellow and covered the US presidential election in 2008 and has travelled extensively across India covering major political developments and state and parliamentary elections. She has recently written a book "She, The Leader: Women in Indian Politics" which profiles 17 Indian women politicians.
