Kulpreet Yadav is an Indian novelist, actor, filmmaker, and screenwriter with an excellent military history. He has more than 15 books under his name including the bestseller The Girl Who Loved a Pirate. The book received massive appreciation and is India's first thriller based on marine piracy and hijacking.

After completing his PG in journalism, he joined the Naval Officer's Academy for two decades and was awarded the Director General's Commendation in 2007. In 2014, he voluntarily retired as a commandant with the Indian Coast Guard to pursue his passion as a full-time writer. He firmly believes that Writing is immensely gratifying and makes a writer more empathetic. His high-rated collection of books includes The Girl Who Loved a Spy, The Battle of Rezang La, Rezang La Kee Shaurya Gatha, and many more.

Fondly known for writing in diverse genres, including espionage, true crime, and romance, he has written several screenplays of short films. His directorial debut short film There is a Stranger in My Bedroom has gained more than 53 Million views on Facebook since its release on 8th Feb 2021. He has acted in engaging web series like Badtameez Dil (2023), DUDE (2022), and Asur (2023). He has directed and produced several short films and is the co-founder of DelMum Productions in partnership with Commandant Dinesh Kumar Chauhan. He is also the Founder of Disha Kiran and a Co-founder of World Law Alliance.

Among his many prestigious achievements is the nomination for the DNA-Out of Print Short Fiction contest in 2014 & 2016. He received the Best Fiction Writer Award at the Gurgaon Literature Festival in 2018 for his espionage novel Murder In Paharganj. Besides appearing in the IDFC Bank advertisement, his acting journey reveals his role as a protagonist in a short film, a popular character in a web series, and a role in a feature film. He has delivered over 300 sessions in India and abroad.
