A particle physicist, K. Sridhar lived in Bombay and worked at the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research before moving to Bangalore to work at the Azim Premji University. Other than the 150-odd research papers in physics that he has published, he has a book, Brane Worlds and Extra Dimensions, in the prestigious Cambridge Mathematical Monographs Series and an edited a volume, Breaking the Silo: Integrated Science Education in India. He regularly publishes articles in philosophy and the visual arts. His first novel, Twice Written, was published in 2011, followed by a critical edition in 2019. Ajita, his second novel, was published in January 2025 by Westland Books.
