Janhavi Samant is a content and influencer marketing strategist and a former journalist with over two decades of experience as a senior features and entertainment editor with eminent newspapers such as Midday, Times of India, Hindustan Times and Lokmat. She is the author of the 2020 bestseller Faaltugiri and Other Flashbacks, a light-hearted book about childhood in the early 80s in Mumbai.
She recently launched a children’s book When Elephants Had Wings, a collection of 25 funny stories for kids. As a child, Janhavi would hear many tales - some funny, some heroic, some tragic and some downright disgusting - from her grandma and parents. As a mom, she loves re-telling and recycling and even making up a few stories for her own kids at bedtime. She believes stories build bonds between parents and kids.
