Added to this is the captivating style of singing that lays emphasis on the aesthetic virtues of music. And last but not the least, is his versatility which puts him at ease even while he renders light classical and popular varieties to the delight of his discerning listeners. Behind this assiduous cultivation of his art there is a lot of dedication, perseverance and 'riyaz'. Bharat has followed a unique style of expression both in his Classical as well as semi classical vocalism. It is a quality which is combined the high pitched powerful pukar in his voice echos in the infinite spaces of formless enigma.
He was bestowed a title 'Swaradhish' from H H Jagadguru Shankaracharya Karveer Peeth for his contribution in the music field. He was also awarded the title 'Surmani' from Sur Singaar Samsad. He has given his performances of Hindustani Classical Vocal at many prestigious occasions and also received a number of awards at various state and National Level competitions. Bharat’s music has also been very well appreciated and received nationally and Internationally.
A number of eminent personalities have eulogized Bharat’s impeccable style of singing and harmonium playing. Among others a letter of appreciations and blessings has been addressed to Bharat by all the five members of the Mangeshkar Family. All the personalities agreed that the Dinanath gayaki of Natyasangeet and Indian Classical music was extremely difficult. Many vocalists have tried to imitate him but none has succeeded so far. They were appreciative that Bharat has researched into the difficult gayaki of Dinanath Mangeshkar and is competently presenting it. Shivashahir Babasaheb Purandare remarked that Bharat seems to be the Kumar Gandharva of the morrow.
Along with career and passion for classical music Bharat has done music direction for many Marathi and hindi movies and currently he has composed 31 songs sung by all eminent artists under his tutelage. These songs are written by Veer Savarkar and this album is being released by Universal music company.
