Avanti is an author, an educator, a scholar and is an expert on Kashmir. Her latest book chronicles the Ancient and Lost Temples of Kashmir, with a focus on conservation and preservation. Prior to this she has written two other books named, Catching The Fading Ray and The Kashmir That Was where the focus again has been on Kashmir. She has been part of several anthologies and contributed articles to various publications. She can be a good speaker on the subject of Kashmir.
