Anuj Dhar is known for his research concerning the controversy surrounding the death of Subhas Chandra Bose and Lal Bahadur Shastri. His books and insights have thus far inspired Alt Balaji's hit web series "Bose: Dead/Alive", Vivek Agnihotri's national award-winning film "The Tashkent Files" and hit Bengali movie "Gumnaami" -- which also won national awards. Dhar's latest book "The Bose Deception: Declassified" (Vintage, Penguin Random House), co-authored by Chandrachur Ghose, reviews the Netaji death mystery in the light of the secret files made public by India and other countries.
