Akshat Gupta On Excelling in Exams and Altogether in Life

On 19th 11.00 AM To 11:40 AM

Mr Akshat Gupta started the session on a light and friendly note by taking the audience on a flashback journey of his life from his school, and college days. He also narrated how he met his wife during his college days, and how Mr. Akshat and his wife helped each other to do better in their life. A few years later they got married in spite of the disapproval of Mr Akshat’s parents. They became parents of an adorable son. After a few years of marriage, Mr Akshat discovered that his wife had an affair with his friend for a few years. It was too difficult for Mr Akshat to accept the fact that the person whom he loved so much and knew for so many years, cheated on him. This led to the separation of the family. Mr Akshat’s wife filed a case against him with all false claims Mr Akshat's wife was tortured by in-laws, and she said she was physically assaulted by her husband. In our Indian society, most of the laws support only WOMEN not MEN. She had the upper hand in this case. This case gave a lot of mental torture to Mr Akshat and his family. He was missing his son; as a mother, his wife managed to take custody of his son with her. This situation made him end his life. Mr Akshat tried to commit suicide by cutting his nerves. But by God's grace, he survived this incident. According to Mr Akshat, how people judge others by the mistakes they had committed in the past is wrong. People change with the passage of time they learn from their mistakes. He was no exception to this notion, his friend started putting me down by calling with various names such as “Mr Akshat is no more”, “He is a loser” and so on. As a person, you should do self-discovery & invention about yourself. Often in a difficult situation, we have the tendency to get surrounded by all negative thoughts or to end our life but that is not the only available choice. Your mistakes make you wiser than yesterday; it defines you as a person. Mr Akshat Gupta talked about his book title as “The Hidden Hindu”. Also tried to enforce the idea of venting out negative emotions, & don't allow them to sabotage you, as it makes you weak inside. Mr Akshat concluded the session with the message that Challenge comes our way to shake us so we can look for the purpose of our life, not to break us. Chances are given by God to us to discover who we are and lead to our future selves.
