Neil D’Silva is an author of over 12 books, including bestsellers such as Maya’s New Husband, Yakshini, Haunted, and Playthings. His publishers include Penguin Random House, Rupa, Hachette, and HarperCollins among others. Four of his books have won options for screen adaptations, while he also writes original stories for movies and web-series.
Neil is a prominent panelist at major literature festivals across the country. He mentors aspiring authors as a mentor with the Scholastic Writers Academy and has given a TEDx talk on The Art of Writing a Bestseller. He has also conducted physical workshops at institutions such as IIT Kanpur.
Recently, Neil was a guest on the popular podcast The Ranveer Show with Ranveer Allahabadia, known as BeerBiceps, which received more than 5 million hits and became one of the most watched episodes on the show. His work in the paranormal nonfiction genre includes his two co-authored books with paranormal investigators—Haunted with Jay Alani and The Spirits Talk to Me with Sarbajeet Mohanty.
