Nandita Puri has been a writer, journalist, broadcaster and columnist for more than two decades. She's been a columnist with Midday and Dainik Bhaskar for several years and authored four successful books including a collection of short stories Nine on Nine and the highly successful biography Unlikely Hero:Om Puri. Her fourth book, Jennifer on international child trafficking and inter country adoption is an international best seller and soon to be adapted for the screen. Nandita is on the script committee of NFDC and has ade her debut in acting in Yes Papa. In 2017 she launched the Om Puri Foundation at the 70th Cannes Film Festival to carry forward thevlegacy if her legendary husband, the late Om Puri .Currently she heads the Om Puri Foundation.
