Joy Bimal Roy assisted Shyam Benegal on 3 feature films in the 80s. He made 2 films, Remembering Bimal Roy and On the Threshold on mentally challenged children. Other assignments include HMV, Home TV, interior and wedding design and upcycling sarees He published his first book called Ramblings of a Bandra Boy recently.
