Chandan Deshmukh, a TEDx speaker, is a 30-year-old Bengaluru based Electronics and Communication Engineer by chance and an SAP Basis engineer by profession.
While in school and college, Chandan preferred reading smart students over textbooks. This enabled him to unearth the plethora of secrets that are laid bare in his books '6 Secrets Smart Students Dont Tell You' and '7 Dream Jobs And How To Find Them', which have sold more than 1 lakh copies so far.
Theatre is Chandan's first love and he has acted and anchored on and off the screen. When he is not scaring his family with weird philosophies, he is likely to be swimming, travelling, skydiving or bungee jumping.

Chandan Deshmukh is an engineer by profession, but with his two books – six secrets smart students don’t tell and 7 dream jobs and how to find them have earned him a place among ace writers. These books are meant for students of age 12 to 20 and have sold more than one lakh copies. Chandan narrates his own story of being a poor student who was more interested in pranks and jokes in the class than studies. This went on till the day he saw his mother crying in the teachers’ room in front of his class teacher, who had called his mother to complain about him. He then realized that he should not give in to instant gratification and if you do want gratification then you should reward yourself every time you finish a tough lesson or question. His advice is to study for 50 minutes and take a 10 minute break which will ensure that you become a successful student the way he did.
