Acharya Prashant On "Increasing relevance of wisdom literature in the modern world" In Conversation With Priyanka Sharma

On 28th 06.00 pm - 06:40 pm

The real wisdom begins with inquiry. Spirituality is all about knowing. It has nothing to do with belief systems. Keep it away from God, Goddesses. Spirituality wants to find out the truth of what we see and the one who sees. The subject and object both have to be known. Whether its believer theist, belong to the same bracket. Spiritual process in progress while doing deeply searching. Spirituality is far away from what people think in real life. Upanishads are in the form of conversation, the seeker and knowledge giver. Nobody accepts anything easily. There are arguments. Same in Geeta, where Arjun disagreed with Shri Krishna. People believe anything they have been told based on religions. Many claims are not based on facts. Superstition is very prevailing in Modern people too. We are operating in an animal way where there is no inquiry. That’s not the way of consciousness. While having a conversation, we expect a reply. The bondage has to be pushed aside. Freedom is invaluable. If you are not free, something within you will try to free yourself. Nobody can leave without peace. Death is the end of consciousness. We must have freedom of thought even if we have to pay the price because that prize carries low value than peace. Bondages are the prize you pay.
