Selma Carvalho is a British-Asian author of three non-fiction books documenting the Goan presence in colonial East Africa and of the novel Sisterhood of Swans (Speaking Tiger, 2021). She headed the Oral History of British Goans Project deposited at the British Library, London. Her writing documents and explores migration, memory and belonging.
