A media professional for over two decades, Rajessh M Iyer is a storyteller and has been a part of many media houses, notable being Magna Publications, Macmillan India, and Amar Chitra Katha Pvt. Ltd., in various capacities like Chief Editor, Creative Head, and CEO. He is the author of two books for children: 'Nanha Natkhat: Tales of Little Krishna' and 'Valiant Warriors'. He has also authored six novels: the Amazon India #1 bestseller, 'Evading the Shadows', a fictional spy thriller set during the Mahabharata; 'Hari and Friends—A Holi Adventure', a nostalgic, coming-of-age story set in India of the ’80s; 'Spinner of the Twisted Tale', a wondrous story of a storyteller’s life; 'Karmic Souls', a love story amidst spiritual awakening; 'Mind Whisperer', a fictional retelling of the last four days in the life of Karna during the Mahabharata War and 'Jabberwockiers', an emotional tearjerker that looks at an unusual father-daughter relationship. According to Mr. Rajesh Iyer and Mr. Nilutpal Gohain, Writing a Novel is not everyone’s cup of tea, it requires a lot of patience sometimes it takes Years and years to create one single novel, if it is interesting as a reader you can Finish reading the novel in a few days. As words have immense power to create the Visual picture in front of us that allows us to travel. The kind of experience writing a novel gives is truly unexplained. There was discussion about the book released by Mr Rajesh Iyer on the book titled” Uncle pie” and other old comic series and stories book which we read at a young age. Reading books not only gives us information but also allows us to know our mythological, heroic characters. Mr.Suhail Mathur - shared his experience in production. He said Bollywood Producers follow trends instead of taking risks in the production of the movie. There are various advantages of OTT. Nowadays, fiction is not liked much as compared to Nonfiction. Producers need to be more experimental and larger than life always don’t work. The producer should readjust their focus on the message as well as Entertainment. How the production of movies affects the young mind as they are more inclined to watch movies instead of reading books. Words are getting replaced with visual effects, dialogues and setups where the story is conveyed through movies. But today's generation is living in a digital so they understand, remember and learn new things through digital media quickly but we can't deny the traditional way of storytelling to young children.
